Home of the 2013 ADGA Reserve National Senior Champion Sable doe
the 2014 ADGA National Sable Best Udder!
Welcome to our home on the web! We are located in south central Missouri.
We have raised and shown dairy goats since 1997, however 2014 was the first year we began raising ONLY sable dairy goats. We have had a wonderful time breeding and showing both lamanchas and sables, but made the decision to focus our time on a single breed.
We LOVE our sables and have found them to be a charming, hard working breed with a wonderful disposition. Add to that their powerful will to produce and you have the hardy breed we have given our hearts to. They fit right in with our wacky Ozarks weather and wacky Ozarks family.
We have been building our sable genetics since 2007 and we feel we are finding improvements with the directions we have chosen. As with any breeding program, it is a learning experience. Our goal is to improve conformation and milk production with each new generation and are making great progress toward that goal through the use of Artificial Insemination and Linear Appraisal.
We have attended several ADGA National shows and did very well.
We test annually for CAE and bi-annually for CL. We are Negative in both.
We love our choice of sable goats and hope the next 19 years will be as wonderful as the first. They come in every color except white. If you think you may be interested in learning more about this breed, or perhaps adding sables to your herd, please feel free to contact us.
