Quality LaMancha Dairy Goats
Crocker Missouri

Welcome to our home on the web.   First off I would like to thank Andrea Forrest for making this website possible.

We are located in south central Missouri.  We have been raising and showing LaMancha dairy goats since 1997.

Like most LaMancha breeders, we started with more than one breed of dairy goat, but quickly figured out that we loved the gentle nature and personality of the LaMancha above all else.

We breed for sound temperment and a good milk supply from structurely sound and healthy animals.  We test our herd annually for CAE and CL and all animals are negative.   Most of our foundation stock is Forrest-Pride, Ozark Highlands and Royal Ransom.   We love the LaMancha "type" that these lines produce.

We went to the 2006 ADGA National Show last year and made the cut in 2 classes!  Our breeding program will include some artificial insemination to help with our goals of producing daughters that are an improvement over their dams.

We try to attend 5 to 6 shows in a season.  We have found the competion to be tough in our wonderful state.  That says alot for the breeders and when we place in the top half of the class (or better!), that makes me proud of what we are accomplishing.

We will offer a limited number of quality kids for sale in 2008.   Our terms of sale are as follows.

Terms of sale:

  • A $75. deposit, will reserve a kid until notification of birth, at which time the remaining balance is due.

  • Kids are held util the age of 4 weeks, at which time they can be shipped or picked up at the farm.   A kid which are not able to be picked up or shipped, due to the buyer's situation by 4 weeks of age, will cost a boarding fee of $20 a week until the kid can be picked up or shipped to you.

  • A $25 discount will be given for each additional kid purchased from this spring's kid crop.

  • Buck kids out of first fresheners, will only be sold if the dam freshens with a beautiful, soundly attached mammary system and we feel her buck will be an improvement to the breed.

  • If the kid from your chosen breeding is not born or is not of the quality that we feel should be sold for breeding or show purposes, your deposit will be refunded or transferred to another breeding.

  • A $50 fee will be necessary to cover the health check and mileage to the airport if the kid is to be shipped.   Shipping costs will be the responsibility buyer.

We hope that you enjoy looking through our website, please feel free to contact us with any questions.
Thanks!!
